May in Kennebunkport
We had a fantasic opening weekend in Kennebunkport, great guests, and great weather! May is an exciting time in Kennebunkport and we look forward to so many happenings in the town…
We are especially looking forward to the opening of Water Lilies, at the Chris Becker Gallery http://www.chrisbeckerphoto.com/ beginning this Friday and running monthly on the first Friday 5-7 pm at the gallery at 127 Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport.
Water Lilies~Photgraphs captured in the night of last summer and fall from a boat on a pond in Maine, these water lily images at times seem to transform into ethereal life forms.
Come to the Cottages at Cabot Cove this weekend and enjoy this event!

Pairing with an Award Winning Chef
We are always striving to deliver an exceptional experience at The Cottages and part of the planning that goes in to such experiences is drawing from local sources. We are so pleased that Executive Chef John Shaw from the award winning One Dock restaurant at the Kennebunkport Inn has helped us to design a wonderful breakfast for each of our guests.
Each morning guests of The Cottages at Cabot Cove will be awakened to find a bag of delicious baked muffins, or ham and cheese croissants, or our favorite a warm baguette with brie and strawberries. Each breakfast bag will include a carafe of freshly squeezed orange juice and Wolfgang Puck Coffee. We will also have organic, all~natural yogurts, or freshly prepared seasonal fruit, and our other favorite yogurt and granola parfaits.
We are eagerly awaiting our May 1, 2010 opening and delivering our breakfasts Sunday morning to our lucky guests.

The Cottages at Cabot Cove, Kennebunkport, Maine
These little dollhouse cottages face a common green that opens onto the calm waters of Cabot Cove. Each cottage is individually owned and has a distinct decor, though you won’t find Victorian tea cup collections anywhere. There’s no big lodge, but somehow a breakfast basket arrives at your door each morning, and someone is always available to help launch a kayak or suggest a restaurant.
Field trip: Have the concierge schedule a trip on a lobster boat. It’s a popular activity, maybe because you get to reap the benefits in your cottage’s kitchen.
Night out: Bandaloop in downtown Kennebunkport has a slick atmosphere and a local, organic menu including such fare as wild haddock in horseradish-panko crust.
